TUCSON, Ariz. – Authorities in southern Arizona say six people were stabbed after a fight broke out during a house party.
Pima County sheriff's spokesman Jason Ogan says the victims ranged in age from 18 to 22, and none of the injuries appeared to be life-threatening.
Authorities say an argument escalated at the home in northwest Tucson when a 21-year-old man pulled out a knife and began swinging it at fellow partygoers. Deputies were called just before 5 a.m. Sunday, but some of the victims had already been driven to hospitals by that time.
The suspect has been arrested on aggravated assault charges.
Authorities said in earlier reports that seven people had been stabbed but have since said six were wounded.
